The Mersey Gateway project, based around the construction of a new toll across the Mersey, has meant the diversion of many utilities in and around the Runcorn and Widnes areas.
P&H Pipelines’ project was a 600mm main utility diversion to avoid the new Merseylink corridor.
A key part of this diversion involved a twin horizontal directional drill shot under the expressway together with the associated installation of the required manifold connections.
